SSO Player Donation Scheme

At the request of several of our brilliant players, we have now set up a donation scheme via direct debit, to enable our players to also be “friends” of the orchestra.

SSO is proud to be a non-fee paying orchestra, to ensure no players are excluded based on affordability. However ticket sales alone cannot cover our costs. Your voluntary support helps us to continue to give outstanding local musicians, like you, the opportunity to bring some of the best classical music in the South of England to the Sussex community.  Additional funding helps us to improve the way that we work and the quality of our concerts, including access to an orchestral manager, guest players, a wider choice of venues and more.

  • You can donate monthly, quarterly or annually; please choose the best option for you below

  • Don’t forget to complete your Gift Aid Declaration if you are a UK taxpayer!

  • It is Important to note, SSO remains a non-fee paying orchestra, to ensure no players are excluded based on affordability; donations are voluntary
